减少依赖英伟达！OpenAI开始租用Google芯片

如今，Google已成功吸引包括苹果在内的多家科技巨头，据媒体报道，
Google正在积极推广其自研的“张量处理器”（TPU），
快科技6月30日消息，这一举措可能挑战英伟达在AI芯片市场的长期主导地位。OpenAI近期开始租用Google的AI芯片（TPU）来训练ChatGPT及其他AI产品，该芯片此前仅供 Google 内部使用。
此次合作标志着OpenAI首次大规模采用非英伟达的AI芯片。若Google能进一步说服更多AI基础设施供应商转向其芯片，此举可能推动TPU成为英伟达GPU的平价替代方案。以及由OpenAI前高管创立的Anthropic和Safe Superintelligence（SSI）等AI初创公司采用其TPU。
